The adventure begins with drinks at Jack Black Brewery<\/a> in Cape Town at 17:30 on Thursday 13 October, If you are in the vicinity please pop in for a pint and a chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am flying to Bali on Tuesday 18 October on Qatar Airways<\/a>. I choose Qatar because I can take Bobbie (my bicycle) as checked luggage. They allow 2x23kgs per passenger in Economy Class. I arrive on Thursday 20th. I’ve booked accommodation at the Sultans of Swell backpackers hostel in Uluwatu. I plan to spend a few days there and scuba dive with Manta Rays. Then I shall begin my journey through Java to Jakarta My planned route is below. Each marker represents a day’s cycle<\/p>\n\n\n\n
