Here I am and I&#8217;m excited.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Some little known facts: (well, to me anyway):\u00a0 Melaka was ruled by the Dutch for 183 years. It was the major trading hub between Europe and the Far East. For South Africans &#8211; Jan van Riebeek was governor here from 1662 to 1665.
